396 Series Spanner Lock

• Spanner Lock Housings are made from zinc alloy bright chrome plated, with zinc plated steel cam and nut.

• Alternative length cams and housings are available standard grip length is 18mm.

• Alternative materials and finishes are available including black coating, 30% glass filled polyamide, and completely manufactured in stainless steel.

• Standard operating types are 5mm pin type, raised 8mm triangle, and raised 8mm square. Other types available on request

• Locks are IP65 sealed.

Compression Latches

Two versions of this product are offered with the following features:

• 5.0mm pull up via a cam together with a positive lock location in the closed position gives compression of gaskets and vibration resistance.

• Smooth half turn action via the cam means a simple fatigue free action.

• IP65 sealed with an internal seal and a seal under the head.

• Anti-vibration locking washer for the fixing nut.

• Position indicator for the cam.

• Operated by 8.0mm square key.

Suitable for the railway, commercial, construction and agricultural vehicle, air conditioning industries and other applications, subject to vibration or the need to compress gaskets for an effective seal.

Materials: Zinc alloy chrome plated housing with zinc plated steel cam and washer. The insert is manufactured from a zinc alloy chrome plated face and steel interior and steel cam.

Other options can be offered including:

• Alternative head styles including European railway standard.

• Cranked cams

• Alternative finishes including a completely stainless steel version.
